It seems that more than ever before, we are obsessed with keeping a youthful appearance, making wrinkle prevention one of our highest priorities. Get plenty of sleep. Most people require seven to nine hours of rest. If you have any issues with falling or staying asleep, go to your doctor and discuss solutions.

Form an exercise plan and stick with it. It does not have to be a crazy daily workout that wears you out to the point of exhaustion. You just need to remember that you are starting now to develop habits to help you age in a healthy way and make sure you balance out the types of exercises that you do.

Wear sunscreen every time you go into the sunshine and limit your exposure to direct sunlight. There is nothing that causes wrinkles to form faster than overexposure to the sun.

Limit your time in extremely cold weather. Freezing temperatures do nothing but cause extreme skin dryness, which in turn allows the skin to wrinkle faster. When you do go out, do not forget to use a lot of moisturizing cream later.

Keep control of your stress levels. Along with that, remember to smile often. Frowning causes wrinkles!

Do not smoke. There is no simpler way to say it. Do not do it. Keep away from other people’s cigarette smoke. It takes vitamin C out of your skin. Vitamin C is important to prevent dry skin.

Do no drink alcohol. In very simple terms, it makes you look older faster; more precisely, alcohol makes your skin’s blood vessels get smaller. This, in turn, rushes blood to the surface of your skin. If these do not heal, then you are stuck with blotchy red patches all over because the blood vessels broke under the pressure.

Just remember that what you do now has a huge impact on how your body deals with the aging process later. Spend time and energy taking care of your skin now and buy wrinkle cream for younger looking skin later.
